World Amateur Golf Ranking (Men)

[two-thirds-first]
The World Amateur Golf Ranking system (WAGR) ranks the top amateur golfers in the world on the basis of their average performance in Counting Events over a rolling cycle of the previous 52 weeks.

Counting Events are graded from A to G in accordance with the strength of the field, with the number of points awarded being proportionate to the event strength.

WAGR has been “live” since 2007 and has quickly become recognised as the world’s pre-eminent amateur golf ranking system, with numerous event organisers using it as an entry criterion for their events.
