IGF Women's Chair (Mexican Golf Federation)

Claudia Garduño, who has served as an IGF Board member and Women’s Chair on the Administrative Committee since 2018, has a distinguished career as a golf administrator and rules expert.  

She continues to serve as a Board member of the Mexican Golf Federation and Chair the Rules Committee, of which she has been a member since 2007. As a rules expert, Garduño has extensive experience serving on the Referee Committees of prestigious professional and amateur tournaments throughout the world, including the Olympic Games, men’s and women’s major championships, World Amateur Team Championships, and Pan American Games. 

Additional responsibilities have included serving as Captain of Club de Golf Sport Frances in Santiago, Chile, from 2015-2017 and as Women’s Captain from 2013-2015; Coordinator of Rules Education for the Chilian Golf Federation from 2012-2017; Rules Director of the Senior Women’s Golf Association of Chile from 2012-2017; Area Director of the Florida State Women’s Golf Association from 2009-2011, and Mexico Women’s Golf Association Co-Chair, Valley of Mexico.  

Mandate is 6 years, expiring in 2025.
