[/et_heading][vc_separator][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/12"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner css=".vc_custom_1497619878503{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;}"][vc_column_inner width="11/12"][vc_column_text 0=""]The purpose of a Dress Rehearsal for the Olympic Games is to simulate a typical sports competition session in order for the OCOG venue team to complete a final rehearsal of key operational flows and processes in and around the Field of Play (FOP) prior to the commencement of competition at the venue.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/12"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner css=".vc_custom_1497619878503{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;}"][vc_column_inner width="11/12"][vc_column_text 0=""]Additionally, the Dress Rehearsal will also be used as an opportunity for the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) to complete a production rehearsal in an environment which is as close to Games as possible. Therefore, the specific dates and times are also subject to OBS’s technical setup and crew availability. However, the Dress Rehearsal will involve OVR, Omega, Sport Presentation, IF, Officials, Venue Management, Sport Competition as well as other operational areas of the OCOG. The Dress Rehearsal for the Olympic Golf Course could be held the day prior to the start of competition (exact date TBC). The main OBS tests will occur after (time TBC), which is the time that official training will end. OBS will use amateur players to simulate shots alongside the course and also practice the Medal Ceremony, together with Sport Presentation, to test the required lighting for this ceremony.
