Argentina (ARG)
Born in Resistencia, Argentina, he made the decision at age 14 to move away from his hometown to Buenos Aires to advance his golf education. Following the move to Argentina’s capital city, he then moved to the US at age 16 to study and further hone his golf skills, having already spent a year traveling back and forth to the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Florida. Represented Argentina as an amateur and won the Terra Cotta Invitational in Naples, Florida, in April 2011 before turning pro. Early career choices paid off when he graduated to the European Tour via the 2011 Qualifying School Final Stage. Continued to progress and made a massive breakthrough in October 2015, winning on the Web.com Tour in the first week of the month then capturing his first US PGA Tour title, the Fry’s.com Open two weeks later.
