Started playing golf when she was ten years old. By 15 she knew she wanted to be a professional. Attended the Swiss Olympic Sports School in Davos in order to combine studies and sport. Her highlights during five years in Davos included being Swiss champion eight times. Went to Purdue University in the USA on a full golf scholarship but struggled to make the desired progress and returned home, where two unfortunate back injuries stopped her from playing for two years. Moved to Sydney to complete recuperation and studied Sports Management at the International College of Management for two and a half years. Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in 2011 and returned to Switzerland and turned pro in 2012, playing in the LET Access Series. Won her first tournament as a Professional, had two more top-ten finishes and ended the year 5th in the Order of Merit which gave her the full card.
