Like the IOC, the IGF acknowledged that the IOC Consensus on Sex Reassignment and Hyperandrogenism guidelines are no longer fit for purpose. The IOC recently released a Framework on Fairness and Non-Discrimination on the Basis of Gender and Sex Variations which the IGF is currently reviewing for developing its own policy.
