31st Women’s World Amateur Team Championship – Inside the Field

SINGAPORE, (29 September 2025)

NUMBER OF TEAMS – 36 teams will compete for the Espirito Santo Trophy in 2025.

DEFENDING CHAMPION – The Republic of Korea captured the title in 2023 at Abu Dhabi Golf Club in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., and will look to become the first team to win consecutive WWATC titles since 2012. The last nation to accomplish the feat was also the Republic of Korea, who won in 2010 at Buenos Aires Golf Club in Argentina and at Gloria Golf Club in Turkey two years later. With the victory in 2023, the Republic of Korea earned its fifth gold medal in the competition, the most of any country with the exception of the United States.

HOST NATION – Singapore is competing in its eighth Women’s World Amateur Team Championship (1984, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2018, 2022, 2023). This is the first time that the nation will host the championships.

CHEVRON CHAMPIONSHIP

Jeneath Wong (MAS) MC is the only player in the field that competed in the 2025 Chevron Championship at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas.

WINNER OF MEN’S AND WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SAME YEAR

The only country to win both the Eisenhower Trophy and the Espirito Santo Trophy together in the same year is the United States of America, who has accomplished the feat eight times and last did so in 1984.

OLDEST AND YOUNGEST

Celine Manche, of Belgium, is the oldest player in the field at 29 years, seven months, three days old. Jennifer Saxton, of Scotland, is also 29 years old. Kanana Muthomi, of Kenya, is the youngest player in the field at 13 years, four months and two days old. Sabrina Wong, of Hong Kong, China, is also 13 years old.

AUSTRALIA

Raegan Denton, 18, is the reigning Australian Girls’ Amateur champion and advanced to match play in the 2025 U.S. Girls’ Junior at Atlanta Athletic Club. Her top performances this year include a third-place finish in the APGC Junior Championship and T-3 in the South Australia Women’s Amateur.

Ella Scaysbrook, 19, recently won the New South Wales Silver Cup, finished runner-up in the Queensland Amateur Championship and advanced to the semifinal match of the U.S. Women’s Amateur at Bandon Dunes, where she fell to eventual champion Megha Ghanne.

Denton and Scaysbrook will compete alongside 20-year-old Jasmine Roberts, who won the 2025 Pacific Northwest Women’s Amateur and finished runner-up in the North & South Women’s Amateur.

BELGIUM

Savannah De Bock, 19, is a two-time Belgian Women’s Amateur champion. A sophomore at the University of Georgia, De Bock won the 2024 Red Sky Classic and had three other top-10 finishes in her second season with the Bulldogs. De Bock was a member of the 2021 and 2023 European Junior Solheim Cup teams, and she won the 2022 European Ladies’ Amateur. She also competed in the 2022 and 2023 AIG Women’s Opens at Muirfield and Walton Heath, respectively.

Céline Manche, 29, works as a senior consultant for a financial services company and the oldest competitor in this year’s field. She won the 2025 Belgian International Amateur and finished third and T-3 in two Belgian WAGR events this year. Manche was the low amateur in the 2023 Belgian Ladies Open and a runner-up in the 2023 European Mid-Amateur Championship.

De Bock and Manche will compete alongside 21-year-old Emma Defleur, who this year has won the Belgian Women’s Mid-Amateur, the Luxembourg International Amateur and finished T-11 in the French International Ladies Championship.

BRAZIL

Valentina Bosselmann, Lauren Grinberg and Maria Eduarda Rocha all represented Brazil in the 2025 South American Team Championship (Copa Los Andes), where the team finished eighth.

Bosselmann, 20 , is a sophomore at the University of South Florida. She finished seventh in the 2025 Brazilian Women’s Amateur and owns victories in the the 2021 Brazilian Junior Championship and the 2023 Brazilian Women’s Amateur.

Grinberg, 25, competed collegiately at Barry College in Florida. She is the sister of Guilherme Grinberg, who represented Brazil in the 2023 Eisenhower Trophy, and a member of the Brazilian Navy.

Rocha, 18, finished T-7 in the 2025 Junior Pan American Games, T-11 in the Brazilian Women’s Amateur and T-12 in the South American Junior.

CANADA

Lauren Kim, 20, is a junior at the University of Texas and Canadian Women’s Amateur champion. She won the 2025 Betsy Rawls Invitational and owns five other top-10 performances this year, highlighted by consecutive third-place finishes in the Moon Golf Invitational and Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.

Vanessa Borovilos, 19, is a sophomore at Texas A&M University and recently finished tied runner-up in the Carmel Cup after competing in the 2025 Canadian Women’s Open and advancing to match play at the U.S. Women’s Amateur this summer.

Borovilos and Kim will compete alongside 17-year-old Michelle Xing, the 2025 Canadian Women’s Amateur champion. Xing’s notable top-15 performances in 2025 include finishing eighth at the Toyota Junior World Cup, T-8 the Glencoe Invitational and 11th at the Mizuho Americas Open.

CHILE

Florencia Dufey, Agustina Gómez and Antonia Matte all represented Chile in the 2025 South American Team Championship (Copa Los Andes), finishing ninth as a team.

Dufey is a 21-year-old junior at Sacramento State University. Her top collegiate performances are a T-6 finish in this year’s Big Sky Women’s Championship and a sixth-place finish in the 2023 Big Sky 54 for IX.

Gómez, 23, finished runner-up in the 2025 Brazilian Women’s Amateur and T-8 in the 2025 South American Women’s Amateur.

Matte, 22, owns several victories on the Chilean Junior Circuit since 2024, and she finished runner-up in the 2025 Copa de Oro, in Uruguay.

PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

Shiyuan Zhou, 15, is the top-ranked amateur in China and the top-ranked player representing an Asian nation in the field (No. 26). She became the youngest winner on the China LPGA Tour – and subsequently, the youngest two-time winner – when she won two events on the China LPGA Tour in 2024.

Yijia Ren, 16, earned the title of youngest winner on the China LPGA Tour just a few months prior to being overtaken by Zhou when she captured the 2024 Beijing Women’s Challenge. She arrives to Singapore off the heels of her second professional victory in the 2025 Zhangjiagang Shuangshan Challenge.

Zhou and Ren will compete alongside 16-year-old Ying Xu, who advanced to the Round of 32 in the 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur and finished T-3 in the 2025 Girls’ Junior PGA Championship.

COLOMBIA

Catalina Monroy, 20, is a sophomore at Michigan State University and was a part of the winning team in the 2024 South American Team Championship (Copa Los Andes). She finished runner-up in the 2025 Colombian Open and fourth in the 2025 South America Amateur Championship.

Maria Isabella Errichetto, 17, won the 2025 PKBGT Tour Championship and finished T-14 in the World Junior Girls Championship. She also finished runner-up in the Ben An Junior and Lanto Junior Championships, along with a T-6 finish in the Arnold Palmer Junior Invitational.

Silvia Garces, 31, represented Colombia in the 2025 South American Team Championship (Copa Los Andes). She owns a pair of World Amateur Golf Ranking victories in Colombia this year and finished T-8 in the 2025 South America Amateur Championship.

CZECHIA

Veronika Kedroňová, 21, is a junior at Kent State University. As a sophomore, she was named MAC Golfer of the Year and earned All-MAC First Team honors after recording eight top-15 finishes.

Anna Ludvová, 17, won the 2025 IMG Academy Junior World Championship. She finished T-8 at this year’s ANNIKA Invitational Europe and German Girls Open.

Natálie Saint Germain is a 22-year-old senior at the University of Houston, where she owns three top-10 finishes, including fourth place at the 2025 Riverbend Intercollegiate and T-5 at the 2024 Schooner Fall Classic.

DENMARK

Benedicte Brent-Petersen, 18, finished runner-up in the 2025 Danish Women’s Open and won this year’s European Nations Cup at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande. She advanced to the Round of 16 in both The R&A’s Girls’ Amateur Championship and Women’s Amateur Championship this summer.

Emma Kaisa Bunch, 23, is a senior at New Mexico State University. She finished T-9 in the 2025 European Ladies’ Amateur and runner-up in the 2025 Conference USA Women’s Golf Championship. Bunch also finished T-11 in the 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur and competed in this year’s U.S. Women’s Amateur.

Marie Eline Madsen is a 21-year-old sophomore at NC State University who is coming off a victory in the Cougar Classic earlier this month. She finished T-15 in this year’s European Ladies’ Amateur and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2025 European Women’s Amateur.

ENGLAND

Nellie Ong, 19, is a sophomore at Ohio State University. She finished T-6 in this year’s European Ladies’ Amateur and third in the 2025 South American Women’s Amateur, with three top-10 collegiate finishes in her freshman season last year.

Annabel Peaford, 16, advanced to the Round of 16 in The R&A’s Girls’ Amateur this summer, finished runner-up in the European Young Masters and earned a T-6 finish in the English Women’s Open.

Patience Rhodes, 21, competed on the victorious GB&I Team in the 2024 Curtis Cup at Sunningdale Golf Club. A redshirt junior at the Arizona State University, Rhodes owns nine top-10 and 14 top-20 finishes in two seasons with the Sun Devils.

FRANCE

Constance Fouillet, 19, is a junior at the University of California, Berkeley. She holds the second and third-best season scoring averages for the team and earned four top-five finishes and six top-10s as a sophomore, including runner-up in the Chevron Silverado Showdown.

Sara Brentcheneff, 18, finished T-5 in the 2025 European Ladies’ Amateur this summer and advanced to the Round of 32 in the U.S. Women’s Amateur earlier this summer. She is committed to the University of Arkansas and owns a professional victory in the LET’s 2024 Super Bock Ladies Open in Portugal. She also finished runner-up in the LET’s Terre Blanch Open in France this summer.

Valentine Delon, 20, is a junior at Virginia Tech University and recorded seven top-20 finishes as a sophomore. She kicked off her third season with a T-3 finish in the Cougar Classic earlier this month after finishing T-6 in the 2025 European Ladies’ Amateur Championship and reaching the Round of 32 in The R&A’s Women’s Amateur Championship this summer.

GERMANY

Chiara Horder, 22, graduated from Mississippi State University this year and competed in the 2023 edition of the Espirito Santo Trophy in Abu Dhabi, where she led the team to a T-11 finish as a playing captain. Horder won the 2023 R&A Women’s Amateur Championship at Prince’s Golf Club in Sandwich and competed in the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally at Lancaster (Pa.) Country Club.

Horder will compete alongside 21-year-old Charlotte Back, who is a junior at the University of Arizona, and Paula Schulz-Hanssen, 22, a senior at Arizona State University who owns nine top-10 finishes as a Sun Devil.

Guam

Mina Manibusan, 16, is the daughter of Melchor Manibusan, a renowned combat sport athlete in Guam who is serving as the team’s captain as well. Manibusan competed in the 2025 IMG Junior World Golf Championship with father Melchor on the bag.

Nalathai Vongjalorn, 27, was once the top-ranked junior golfer in Guam. In 2016, instead of opting for collegiate golf in the United States, Vongjalorn joined the Guam military.

Tyanna Jacot, 17, has won back-to-back Guam Amateur Championships. She finished T-77 in the 2025 Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific, and she competed in the 2024 IMG Academy Junior World Chamionship, where she finished T-35.

HONG KONG, CHINA

Elin Wang, 15, has six top-five finishes in her last six appearances in American Junior Golf Association tournaments, highlighted by victories in the Albany Junior presented by UHY and the Justin Thomas Junior Championship. She also finished runner-up in the Rolex Girls’ Junior Championsihp.

Hei Tung Leung, 16, arrives in Singapore fresh off back-to-back victories in the Hong Kong Junior Open Championship and the Hong Kong Ladies Open Amateur. She competed in the 2025 Women’s Australian Master of the Amateurs and Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific, where she finished T-40 and T-53, respectively.

Sabrina Wong, 13, reached the semifinals of The R&A’s Girls’ Amateur earlier this summer and 25th in the 2025 Queen Sirikit Cup. She captured four titles this summer: The Foundations Trophy in Scotland, The R&A Girls U16 Amateur Championship, the SGF Classic in England and the British Junior Golf Tour’s World Junior Golf Championship in Spain.

IRELAND

Áine Donegan, 23, played collegiately at Louisiana State University and was the low amateur in the 2023 KPMG Women’s Irish Open. Her best collegiate finish was T-2 in the 2024 Moon Golf Invitational. In July of 2023, she made headlines after shooting a 3-under-par 69 in the opening round of the U.S. Women’s Open at Pebble Beach.

Beth Coulter, 21, is a senior at Arizona State University and competed on the victorious GB&I Team in 2024 at Sunningdale Golf Club, in England. She has advanced to match play in The R&A’s Women’s Amateur in each of her last six appearances, reaching the Round of 64 earlier this summer. Coulter competed in the 2025 KPMG Irish Women’s Open and this year’s Augusta National Women’s Amateur.

Emma Fleming, 20, attends university in Ireland at the University College Dublin, earning a victory on The R&A Student Tour Series in 2024. She won the 2025 Port Phillip Open Amateur and Victorian Amateur and finished runner-up in the Rene Erichsen Salver, which are both held in Australia.

ITALY

Francesca Fiorellini, 19, is a sophomore at Louisiana State University after transferring from UCLA following her freshman season, where she captured her first collegiate title at the 2025 Bruin Wave Invitational.

Natalia Aparicio, 18, won the 2025 Italian International Girls Championship, was part of the victorious Italy Team that captured the Italian National U18 Team Championship and finished runner-up in the Italian Ladies’ Amateur. She also finished runner-up in the 2025 ANNIKA Invitational Europe, T-23 in this year’s European Ladies’ Amateur Championship and advanced to match play in The R&A’s Girls’ Amateur this summer.

Fiorellini and Aparicio will compete alongside 19-year-old Matilde Partele, who finished T-7 in the Italian Ladies Amateur and represented Italy in the Italian National Ladies Team Championship.

JAPAN

Aira Nagasawa, 17, competed in the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally at Erin (Wis.) Hills. She finished T-3 in the 2025 Queen Sirikit Cup and T-4 in the Japan Women’s Amateur.

Anna Iwanaga, 16, captured multiple World Amateur Golf Ranking events in 2025, highlighted by victories in the Uswing Mojing Junior World, the Kansai Women’s Amateur and the Golf Digest Japan Junior Cup. She also finished runner-up in the 2025 Japan Women’s Amateur.

Mamika Shinchi, 18, competed in the 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur and Augusta National Women’s Amateur, where she missed the cut and finished T-22, respectively. Shinchi won the 2025 Toyota Junior World Cup and finished T-8 in the Japan Women’s Amateur.

KENYA

Kellie Gachaga, 25, played collegiately at the University of Arkansas Little Rock after winning the Mombasa Cup championship and 2018 Kenya Junior Championship. Gachaga won this year’s Kenya Ladies Open (stroke play) and is competing as a playing captain.

Gachaga will compete alongside Ashley Awuor, 23, who won the 2025 Kenya Ladies Open (match play) along with this year’s Sterling Invitational, and 13-year-old Kanana Muthomi, the youngest player in this year’s field. Muthomi owns multiple junior titles in Kenya and finished eleventh in the 2025 Africa Women’s Amateur.

REPUBLIC OF KOREA

A Jin Sung, 18, earned a wire-to-wire victory at the 2025 ANNIKA Invitational Asia and recently finished runner-up in the Dream Park Cup.

Seojin Park, 17, competed in the 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur, finished T-3 in the World Junior Girls Championship in Canada and won the 2025 APGC Junior Championship.

Soomin Oh, 17, is the No. 14-ranked amateur in the world. She competed in both the U.S. Women’s Amateur and Augusta National Women’s Amateur this year, and she arrives at Tanah Merah Country Club off three professional appearances in the CPKC Canadian Women’s Open, the OK Savings Bank Open and the Hana Financial Group Championship.

MALAYSIA

Jeneath Wong, 20, is a senior at Pepperdine University and the reigning Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific champion. She made two major championship appearances in 2025 at The Chevron Championship and the Amundi Evian Championship.

Foong Zi Yu, 20, is a junior at the University of Nevada Las Vegas after transferring from Lipscomb University, where she competed her freshman season.

Wong and Zi Yu will compete alongside 23-year-old Charlayne Shin Ling Chong, who competed in the 2025 Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific.

MEXICO

Alexa Saldaña, 21, is a senior at the University of Houston, where her best finish is third place at both the 2025 Riverbend Intercollegiate and the 2023 Sam Golden Invitational. In 2021, she captured the U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship alongside playing partner Savannah Barber.

María José Barragán, 20, is a junior at BYU. She earned multiple top-10 finishes in her sophomore season, highlighted by a victory at the 2025 USF Invitational and runner-up finish at the 2024 Red Raider Invitational.

Alexis Lamadrid, 16, competed in both the U.S. Girls’ Junior and U.S. Women’s Amateur this summer, advancing to match play in the latter after failing to qualify through a playoff in the former. This summer, the University of Texas commit also competed in the North & South Junior Amateur and earned top-10 finishes in a pair of American Junior Golf Association Tournaments. Lamadrid is the reigning Mexican Women’s Amateur champion.

MOROCCO

Sofia Cherif Essakali, 16, finished runner-up in the 2025 Women’s Orlando International Amateur and won the Pan Arab Women’s Championship in 2023 and 2024. This year, she also competed in the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley (T-19), the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (T-44) and the Mizuho Americas Open.

Maria Harrouch, 23, played her undergraduate collegiate golf at the University of Colorado before joining the University of Georgia golf team as a graduate student. She earned multiple top-20 finishes with the buffaloes and competed in the Southwestern Amateur this summer, finishing T-14.

Rim Imni, 21, is the reigning Pan Arab Ladies champion and a senior at the University of Cincinnati. She joined the Bearcats after two seasons at Seminole State where she earned All-America honors at the NJCAA National Championship and helped Seminole State to a team runner-up finish.

NETHERLANDS

Anne-Sterre den Dunnen, 22, is a senior at Wake Forest University. In 2025, she finished runner-up at the Dutch National Stroke Play Championship, fourth at the European Ladies’ Amateur and T-8 at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate.

Hester Sicking, 24 , played collegiate golf at Kent State University. She won the 2025 Dutch Amateur Championship and was the runner-up at the 2025 Dutch National Open Championship. Sicking is competing as a playing captain.

Rosanne Boere, 20 , won this year’s Dutch National Stroke Play Championship, Dutch National Open Championship and Dutch International Junior Open. She also finished fifth at the French International Ladies Championship.

NEW ZEALAND

Emma Zheng, 21 , has won five events in 2025, including victories in the New Zealand and Auckland Stroke Play Championships. She earned top-20 finishes at both the 2025 Toyota Junior World Cup (T-15) and APGC Junior Championship (T-16), and she finished T-8 in the Australian Girls’ Amateur this year.

Eunseo Choi, 19 , is a sophomore at Pepperdine University who finished runner-up at the 2025 Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship. She competed in the 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur, and in 2024, she won the Australian Women’s Amateur.

Zheng and Choi are joined by University of Texas junior Vivian Lu, 21 , who earned First Team All-Big 10 honors in the 2024-25 season.

NORWAY

Henriette Stranda, 22, is a senior at Division II Flagler College. She finished T-13 at the 2025 NCAA DII Women’s National Championship.

Silje Ohma, 21 , is a senior at Baylor University who reached the Round of 16 at the 2025 R&A Women’s Amateur. In 2024, she also made the cut at the European Ladies’ Amateur Championship.

Stranda and Ohma are joined by Sofie Engeseth, 21, a sophomore at the University of Tennessee who was the 2023 Norwegian National Junior champion.

PERU

Aitana Tuesta, 19, is a sophomore at Clemson University. She finished 13th at the 2024 Toyota Junior World Cup and T-27 at the 2024 ANNIKA Intercollegiate.

Camila Zignaigo, 18, is a freshman at the University of California, Berkeley, and the two will compete alongside 21-year-old University of Minnesota junior Mariana Mesones, who won the 2025 Peruvian Women’s Amateur and earned two top-five finishes in her last three collegiate appearances .

PHILIPPINES

Rianne Mikhaela Malixi, 18, won the 2024 U.S. Girls’ Junior and then triumphed once again at the 2024 U.S. Women’s Amateur, becoming the second player in USGA history to win both championships in the same year. Malixi was victorious at the 2024 Women’s Australian Master of the Amateurs and finished runner-up at the 2024 Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. During her 2025 season, she competed in the 2025 U.S Women’s Open Presented by Ally at Erin Hills and the Amundi Evian Championship. Malixi is a freshman at Duke University.

Junia Louise Gabasa, 24, played collegiately at Texas State University, where she earned 2024 All-Sun Belt First Team honors as a senior. She was also the runner-up at the Singapore Ladies Amateur Open Championship and won the 2024 Philippine National Stroke Play Championship.

Malixi and Gabasa will compete alongside Grace Pauline Quintanilla, 18, a sophomore at Texas State University who won the 2024 Philippine Ladies Open and finished T-8 at this year’s Singapore Junior Golf Championship.

SCOTLAND

Abigail May, 17 , earned a third-place finish at the Scottish Ladies’ Amateur Championship and is committed to Baylor University.

Freya Russell, 19, is a sophomore at Florida State University and finished runner-up in this year’s Scottish Women’s Amateur Championship. Russell also finished T-28 at the English Women’s Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship.

Russell and May will compete alongside Jennifer Saxton, 29, who advanced to the Round of 64 at The R&A Women’s Amateur Championship.

SINGAPORE

Xingtong Chen, 16, was a finalist at this year’s U.S. Girls’ Junior, falling short to Aprodite Deng in the 36-hole championship match, 2 and 1. Earlier this year, she won the Singapore Junior Golf Championship. In 2024, Chen finished tied for ninth at The R&A Junior Open and won the Singapore Open Amateur Championship.

Inez Ng, 22, is a senior at the University of North Carolina. She finished third at the Pacific Northwest Women’s Amateur Championship and tied the UNC record for score to par (-12) en route to her first collegiate victory at the 2024 Cavalier Regional Preview.

Ng and Chen will compete alongside Valencia Chang, 19 , who is a sophomore at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington.

SOUTH AFRICA

Bobbi Brown, 21 , finished sixth at the 2025 English Women’s Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship. She competed in both the European Ladies’ Amateur Championship and The R&A’s Women’s Amateur Championship.

Kyra van Kan, 19 , is a sophomore at the University of Tennessee and is joined by Megan Streicher, 22, a senior at the University of North Carolina. Streicher set the Tar Heel record for lowest single-season average (71.83) as a sophomore. She also made an appearance in the Round of 16 at the Women’s Western Amateur Championship and North & South Women’s Amateur Championship.

SPAIN

Andrea Revuelta, Carolina López-Chacarra and Paula Martín Sampedro all led Spain to a gold-medal finish in the 2025 European Girls’ Team Championship at Golf de Chantilly (Vineuil Course), in Paris, France.

Revuelta, 19, concluded her freshman year at Stanford University by winning both the 2025 ACC Women’s Championship and NCAA Norman Regional. She finished T-4 at the 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur, and in 2024, she finished runner-up at the European Ladies’ Amateur and advanced to the Round of 64 at the U.S. Women’s Amateur. Revuelta represented Spain in both the 2024 Junior Solheim Cup and 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup.

López-Chacarra , 22 , competed for Wake Forest University before graduating earlier this summer. She advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur and made the cut (T-36) at this year’s U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally at Erin Hills. López-Chacarra also finished inside the top 10 at this year’s Augusta National Women’s Amateur and the 2025 ACC Women’s Golf Championship.

Martín Sampedro, 20, has enjoyed a historic summer that includes winning both The R&A’s Women’s Amateur and European Ladies’ Amateur Championship. A junior at Standard University, Sampedro earned Pac-12 Golfer of Year and Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors and helped Stanford win the NCAA Team Championship.

Paula Martin Sampedro (No. 2), Andrea Revuelta Goicoechea (No. 3) and Carolina López-Chacarra (No. 13) are all ranked inside the top-15 in WAGR®.

SWEDEN

Meja Örtengren, 20, is the No. 6-ranked amateur and a sophomore at Stanford University. She won the LET’s Hills Open earlier this summer in a 2025 season that includes a third-place finish at the LET Access Tour’s PGA Championship, a T-6 finish at the European Ladies’ Amateur and T-10 at the NCAA DI Women’s National Championship. She earned ACC Rookie of the Year honors during her freshman campaign and was a semifinalist in the 2024 R&A European Ladies’ Amateur Championship. Ortengren represented Sweden the 2024 Palmer Cup and is returning to the World Amateur Team Championship after representing her country in 2023, having won gold in 2022.

Moa Svedenskiold, 21, is a senior at the University of Houston who set the school's single-season scoring record (71.46) during her sophomore campaign. Svedenskiold became the third Cougar in program history to win multiple individual tournament titles in her career. She also advanced to match play at The R&A Women’s Amateur Championship in consecutive years.

Kajsalotta Svarvar, 21, is entering her sophomore season at Ole Miss after earning a selection to the SEC All-Freshman Team. She finished T-11 at the 2025 European Ladies’ Amateur Championship and represented her country at the European Ladies’ Team Championship.

CHINESE TAIPEI

Yu-Chu Chen, 18, is an incoming freshman at Oklahoma State University. She was a two-time Rolex Junior All-American, winning three AJGA events in 2024. During that same season, she won the Taiwman Amateur Championship and finished as the runner-up at the Southwestern Amateur.

Huai Chien Hsu, 21, is a senior at the University of Texas and is coming off her Round of 16 appearance at the U.S. Women’s Amateur. Hsu finished T-10 at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate and was a semifinalist at the Women’s Western Amateur Championship, and in 2024, she competed in the U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally and was the runner-up at the Southwestern Amateur. She was also the low individual at the 2023 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship in Abu Dhabi.

Hsu and Chen will compete alongside another Texas Longhorn in Hsin Chun Liao, 20, who made the Round of 32 at both the 2024 R&A Women’s Amateur and Women’s Western Amateur.

THAILAND

Kritchanya Kaopattanaskul, 17, is the reigning Asia Pacific Golf Confederation Junior champion. She also finished runner-up at this year’s Taiwan Amateur Championship, Toyota Junior World Cup and Trang An Junior Elite and finished fourth at the Singapore Open Amateur Championship.

Pimpisa Rubrong, 18, is an incoming freshman at Arizona State University who made the Round of 64 at the 2025 U.S. Girls’ Junior and finished tied for third at the 2025 Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. Rubrong also finished inside the top-10 at the 2025 Toyota Junior World Cup and Taiwan Amateur Championship.

Prim Prachnakorn, 17, claimed victories at the 2025 Singapore Open Amateur Championship and Malaysia International Junior Open. She made the cut at the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship and finished T-6 at this year’s Toyota Junior World Cup.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Megha Ganne, 21, is coming off her triumph at the U.S. Women’s Amateur, where she defeated Brooke Bierman, 4 and 3, in the 36-hole championship match. A senior at Stanford University, Ganne earned All-Pac-12 honors as a freshman with four top-10 finishes, including a runner-up showing at the Carmel Cup. As a sophomore, she claimed her first collegiate win at the Carmel Cup and played a key role in Stanford’s NCAA team title. She added another individual victory in her junior year at the Nanea Invitational and helped Stanford to a national runner-up finish. In 2025, she made history at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, carding a championship-record 63 in the opening round. Ganne was in the final pairing of the 2017 U.S. Women’s Open at The Olympic Club and earned low-amateur honors (T-14).

Catherine Park, 21, is a senior at the University of Southern California. During her junior year, she set the USC single-season records for top ten finishes (10) and par or better rounds (26), as well as posted the second-best single-season stroke average in program history (71.00). She also claimed the individual title at the 2024 Pac-12 Tournament, breaking the tournament record by shooting 15-under par. She was selected to two Arnold Palmer Cup teams and was a member of the 2024 Curtis Cup team.

Farah O’Keefe, 20 , is a junior at the University of Texas. In 2024, she was named Big 12 Player of the Year and earned Freshman of the Year honors after winning the Women’s Western Amateur and reaching the Round of 16 in the U.S. Women’s Amateur. This year, O’Keefe finished runner-up at the Women’s Amateur Championship in Scotland and fell in the Round of 64 at the U.S. Women’s Amateur. O’Keefe also represented the United States in the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup. She recorded the lowest final-round score by an amateur in U.S. Women’s Open history this year at Erin Hills.

Ganne (5), O’Keefe (7) and Park (10) are all ranked in the top 10 of WAGR®.

VIETNAM

Chuc An Le, 17, is the top-ranked Vietnamese female in the WAGR® and became the first Vietnamese woman to capture a title on the All-Thailand Tour after her triumph at the Tràng An Open in May. She holds multiple Vietnam Golf Association victories and is committed to the University of Tennessee.

Arena Tran, 14, won the 2025 Vietnam Junior Open and earned top-five finishes at both the Vietnam Ladies Amateur Open and Vietnam National Championship Vinfast Cup. She also finished ninth at the 2025 Portsea Open Amateur.

Tran and An Le will compete alongside 15-year-old Nguyen Minh Anh Le.

About the World Amateur Team Championships (WATC)

The World Amateur Team Championships are a biennial international amateur golf competition conducted by the International Golf Federation. The women contest the Espirito Santo Trophy while the men compete for the Eisenhower Trophy. This year marks the 31st edition of the women’s WATC which was first played in 1964 in France. The men’s Championship was first played in 1958 on the Old Course of St. Andrews and 2025 is its 34th edition.
