The Olympic Golf Competition will be held on the Albatros Course at Le Golf National. The Albatros is a real gem, recognised as one of the best championship courses in Europe and has received high praise from both pros and amateurs.
Hosting venue of the French Open since 1991, a key step in the European Tour calendar, the golf course combines the traditional feel of a links with the modern features of target golf.
Slick greens, vast undulating fairways with innumerable links-style bunkers...The spectacular final 4 holes surrounded by water hazards make the Albatros one of the finest golf courses in Europe where, in 2018, the final act of the Ryder Cup drama was played.
Le Golf National is situated to the south-west of Paris, near Versailles, 41km from the Olympic Village.
Hole-by-hole information may be found here on Le Golf National website.
Post Games Legacy
Following the Olympic Games, Le Golf National will resume its role as the national high-performance training centre of the French Golf Federation and host of the annual French Open, as well as a sport complex open to the community.
