A keen car enthusiast who named his twin sons Aston and McLaren, it is no surprise Hend has been an especially accomplished driver. During his spell on the Asian Tour, the Australian has topped the driving distance category four times. Since turning pro in 1997, has played on most of the main tours, winning on the PGA Tour of Australasia, the Canadian Tour, the Asian Tour and the European Tour. Based in Florida, he played two seasons on the US PGA Tour, in 2004 and 2005, before trying his luck further east. He has played on the Asian Tour since 2006, winning six times. Was awarded 2007 Rookie of the Year honours on the Asian Tour before earning his breakthrough triumph at the Indonesia President Invitational in 2008. Claimed his first European Tour victory, capturing the 2014 Hong Kong Open, defeating Angelo Que with a par at the first playoff hole to claim the title.
