Le Golf National, Paris (18th)

2022 WATC FRANCE

The French Golf Federation will play host to the 2022 World Amateur Team Championships (WATC). The 29th women’s championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy will be held from 24th to 27th August and the 32nd men’s championship for the Eisenhower Trophy from 31st August to 3rd September 2022.

This will mark the third time the championships have been played in France. Previously, both 1994 championships were held at Le Golf National (as well as La Boulie for the Eisenhower Trophy) and the inaugural Espirito Santo Trophy competition was played at St. Germain Golf Club in 1964.

Le Golf National (Albatros course) and Golf de Saint-Nom-La- Brèteche (Red Course) near Paris, will be the courses used for the championships. Le Golf National was the site of the 2018 Ryder Cup and will also play host to the Olympic Games Paris 2024 while Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Brèteche hosted the prestigious Trophée Lancôme for 34 years.

Please visit the Golf Courses page for detailed information on the Field of play.
