2027 World Amateur Team Championships, Morocco

The 2027 World Amateur Team Championships will be hosted by the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, Morocco.

Dates for the 2027 Championships are yet to be confirmed.

Both the men’s and women’s Championship consist of 72 holes of stroke play. Teams are comprised of 2-3 players. In each 18-hole round, the total of the two lowest scores by players of each team constitutes the team score for that round. The total of the two-player team scores for the four rounds is the team’s score for the Championship. The Champion is the team with the lowest total score for 72 holes.

Golf Course

Designed by Trent Jones Sr in 1971, The Royal Golf Dar Es Salam is located 15 minutes from the centre of Rabat and 40 minutes from the international airport. Its construction was a royal initiative, undertaken by the late King, His Majesty Hassan II, whose favourite sport was golf.

The Royal Golf Dar Es Salam boasts three courses and an academy and has hosted the majority of the Hassan II Golf Trophy editions since its inception in 1971.
