IGF Covered Competitions
What are IGF Covered Competitions?
IGF Covered Competitions are tournaments and events recognised by the International Golf Federation under which athlete classification operates or classification opportunities are provided, from world-level amateur and professional championships to officially sanctioned IGF competitions.
As part of IGF counting events, all participating athletes who meet the eligibility requirements must undergo classification in accordance with the IGF Classification Rules and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Code. Classification at Covered Competitions ensures that each athlete’s impairment is assessed objectively and that Sport Class assignments are consistent and transparent.
